Dr. Danny Weikert is a dedicated ophthalmologist with over three decades of service in Williamson County. As a respected healthcare professional, Dr. Weikert has not only cared for the visual health of his community but has also extended his expertise to professional sports teams, serving as the Team Doctor for the Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators for the past two decades.
Driven by a personal mission to make a difference, Dr. Weikert became involved with our organization to honor the memory of his dear friend, Mary O'Connell, who lost her battle with cancer. In her honor, he initiated fundraising efforts by auctioning off memorabilia, demonstrating his commitment to supporting those in need during challenging times.
Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Weikert is deeply involved in charitable work, dedicating his time and resources to organizations such as Big Brothers, VFW, Elks Lodge, and The Arc, among others. His passion for giving back to the community is evident in his multifaceted involvement in various philanthropic endeavors.
As a single father to three children—Abby, Alex, and Nick—Dr. Weikert understands the importance of building a better future for the next generation. His dedication to his family, his patients, and his community exemplifies the values of compassion, integrity, and service that are at the core of our organization's mission.
